“Beauty is not a luxury; it is the language of the soul remembering itself.”
Georgia Lee Mellor, founder & director of Danu Soma
Danu Soma was born from a lifelong journey of seeking safety, balance, and beauty in a world that often felt overwhelming. As an undiagnosed neurodivergent, since childhood I have instinctively created environments rich in comfort, sensory nourishment, and aesthetic harmony—spaces that became my sanctuary and safety in the face of high sensitivity and overstimulation. I have since studied and practiced as a stylist and interior designer, seeing the immense value in this alongside inner work.
Over the years, my path has been anything but linear. I’ve explored and thrived in multiple industries, gaining invaluable experience in advertising, styling, and entrepreneurship—including founding and running a successful clothing and vinyl market. At the same time, my deep curiosity for healing led me into the world of somatic therapy, massage therapy, astrology, psychotherapy, energy work, psychic mediumship, and movement-based practices, where I’ve been in practice for nearly 15 years.
Alongside these pursuits, I am a passionate writer, speaker, and teacher, drawn to sharing wisdom through storytelling and connection. My work is deeply informed by my own lived experience—surviving and alchemizing complex trauma, chronic illness, housing insecurity, late-diagnosed neurodivergence, escaping cults, domestic violence, and breast cancer. Through these experiences, I have come to understand that while suffering can shape us, it does not have to define us.
It is my life’s work to help others move through their own experiences with resilience, creativity, and grace—coming home to themselves and their environment in a way that fosters ease, beauty, and joy. We do not have to stay stuck in the past; we can learn to move with it, transmute it, and create something new.
I look forward to supporting you in cultivating a space—both within and around you—that reflects who you truly are.
